Smoke/Heat Alarm & Evacuation Testing
Smoke Detectors and Alarms are designed to activate when smoke is present and indicate of a nearby fire, Smoke detectors or alarms can either trigger a fire detection system if installed or sound an audible alarm to alert nearby occupants that there is a fire in the area which can give them the best chance of responding and/or evacuating.
Smoke Alarms and Heat Alarms are required to be inspected six monthly as per the Australian Standard 3786-2014 and in accordance with Australian Standard 1851-2012 and batteries to be replaced Annually, below is a link for you to understand the New legislation
